The Goal Orientation Theory
(Human Goal Striving)
What is it?
It has to do with life aspirations, both intrinsic (e.g., striving for personal growth and self-actualization) and extrinsic (e.g., striving for health and recognition), and goal orientations (e.g., motivation and perception of mastery) and how they can predict achievement of goals.

How do we incorporate this theory into our work?
We consider very carefully your life aspirations and goal orientations as a way to help you achieve your goals. We consider your perspective to help you achieve your goals as follow:
-
Perceived purpose
-
Personal and professional goals
-
Satisfaction with learning
-
Perceived causes of success
-
Perceived ability
