PROTEAWELL FOUNDER & CEO
Greetings, I am Joanie, the driven owner and founder of Proteawell. I am a health and wellness educator, focusing on helping individuals and communities make lifestyle changes to manage stress and burnout effectively for better health. I have a master's degree in nursing education; I am a certified yoga instructor with training in restorative yoga and a certified kidney health coach. I have more than 3 years of academic teaching experience and more than 10 years of clinical nursing experience, which has allowed me to care for people with diabetes, high blood pressure, and kidney disease, among other health conditions. My professional experience has enabled me to work closely with diverse healthcare recipients and professionals, creating care plans tailored to individual and community needs. I am an author who has published a book and a workbook that share my journey of self-care and self-development, drawing on my research, personal, and professional experiences.
I enjoy writing, reading, hiking, traveling, and learning about myself and other people’s personal and professional journeys. I look forward to being a part of your health and wellness journey.

To empower individuals and communities to care for themselves and others by increasing accessibility to and affordability of high-quality self-care services through individual coaching, group workshops, and keynote speakers.
We aim to partner with educational institutions, community organizations, healthcare facilities, and other relevant organizations to provide our self-care services to individuals and communities.
