“If you want to be a good saddler, saddle the worst horse; for if you can tame one, you can tame all.”- Socrates

Some of us are forced to obey.
Some of us are forced to experience humiliation at all levels.
Some of us are expected to see the good in persons, at all costs.
Some of us are criticized day in and day out for our souls to be tamed.
Some of us are isolated so that our souls could be broken.
Some of us are expected to remain optimistic in the midst of uncertainty.
Some of us are expected to rise above everything that has been sent to break us.
Some of us are criticized for succeeding, and some of us are criticized for failing.
Some of us are forced to be silent because speaking the truth hurts the feelings of those who want to be our masters.
Some of us forgive those who have trespassed against us, and some of us forgive ourselves for allowing them to do so.
Some of us run wild and free every day, even when others have tried to break our souls.
Some of us do not want to be lions, but rather be horses running freely in the wild.
Some of us would rather not be tough to survive, but rather live trusting that we do not need to be tough to survive.
Some of us, some of us, some of us....
