What is trusting and mistrusting the wrong person? You can believe a person is honest, sincere, and has good intentions, but they do not. On the contrary, you can believe a person is dishonest, insincere, and does not have good intentions, but they do.
How do I know I am making the right decision when I trust others? You cannot. Sometimes, persons have their own agenda, and it has nothing to do with you. Sometimes, person's actions are guided by their morals, values, and beliefs, which might differ from yours.
What is my point? I think it is ridiculous to believe that we may not judge wrongly. Sometimes, our judgment of others can lead to positive or negative outcomes.
What is the best thing to do? Trust that you will make the right decision when you make decisions for yourself. Understand that persons are prone to change or not hold their promises. It is best to expect the unexpected to avoid disappointment.
Love thyself,
